Miesha Theresa Tate ( born on 18 August 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in which she is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was earlier an Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently ranks 10 in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings as of October 3, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and her husband Robert Schmidt. She was a teeny-tweener in her early years she was often socializing with boys from her community on playgrounds.
